if you place a line like this in httpd.conf in one of your sites (say
www.mydomain.com):

AliasMatch ^/usersites/([^/]+)(/(.*))? /home/sites/$1/web/$3

then you can see the new site (www.newdomain.com) by going to:

www.mydomain.com/usersites/www.newdomain.com
