Taco has said he found a problem and will post a new package tonight.
It will upgrade and you do not have to uninstall.

As I said I`m working my way through the docs.. but directories and file
permissions seem to be the issues... and possibly suidperl whatever that
is!..... so if anyone has sorted this.. please post.
