[cobalt-users] [Qube2] Problems restoring from OS Restore CD

I've managed to download the Qube2 ISDN .iso from the ftp.nl.cobalt.com site
and successfully burnt it to a disk.

The PC I am using as a restore CD is my laptop using a 3Com 3C574 PC Card
which I read is supported. I start the Qube with the left & right buttons
pressed and I get the "Net Booting" message. I then get a message on the
Qube saying "Running MFG Tests" and after the lcd display clears the link
light dies on the Qube NIC. The display shows "Starting Up" and sits there
indefinitely... (I've left it for nearly 1.5 hours with no other activity).
As far as I can tell the hard drive is spinning but not being accessed (none
of the usual noises).

A console attached to the serial port during booting gives a lot of info but
this last bit seems interesting.

If anyone wants I can post / mail separately the entire log I got from the
console (5.5kb txt file)

Seems it is looking to the Hard disk for something?

Isn't the OS restore CD supposed to be able to completely restore a blank
hard drive?

Cheers for all or any light shed on this...
