Hi,
I just moved several sites from one RAQ4 to another RAQ4 with the latest
version of CMU and
users started to complain they cannot receive mail ( or rather people cannot
send mail to them)
The sender receives a reply with "Cannot create output"
I checked /var/spool/mail and saw lots of files owned by numbers instead of
by a username in some cases
the group was set to a number as well which should have been the
sitenumber.
I changed the groups without problem but when I try to correct the owner I
get a message that the user is unkown.
However all users are in the passwd file.
The usernames with problems all have a dot in their username. The usernames
without a dot in the name work fine
any suggestion on how to solve this is really appreciated.
