I generally use a 15 minute ttl, if it's only going to be that way for a
day or 2, it's long enough that a session doesn't keep pestering the
server, but fast enough to be reasonable if you make a booboo....
The tradeoff is time to wait vs a certain level of flakiness if transport
errors occurr looking up the domain....
It's really not all that critical, but i wouldn;t go any shorter than
that, some folks like to use 1 hr...i'm too impatient to wait n hour if i
botch something tho ;)
ps: don't forget to make refresh+retry <= than ttl ;)
