At 9:15 PM -0400 9/7/01, baltimoremd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is rumored to have typed:

Which, of course, mailman can do. The problem is that peopleweb's mailer
is broken, sending the bounce to the wrong place. Since it's coming to the
poster instead of the list, mailman has no _idea_ the address is bouncing,
and so the address MUST be unsubscribed manually.
THAT'S why I'm beating up on the idiots at peopleweb - they have a broken
mailer, ehich is preventing the list software from doing its job.
