Yes indeed Dom, I agree that this solution solves the problem. It's elegant
and simple.
Yet I do feel that something like this represents an administrative
opportunity as a gateway to learning possible solutions to future problems
(or present problems that haven't yet been addressed and solved)
However having a working /etc/procmailrc allows the admin future capability
to do some industrial strength file mangling/poisoning/flushing via
carefully crafted regexp's thus safeguarding his/her user population
residing in the Windows world.
"Keep it simple" is an invaluable philosophy, but an admin-in-training
should be mentally prepared to embrace the command line and extend their
knowledge of command line driven software that has enormous capabilities.
