It's internal data created by IMAP for its internal use. When you access
the account from a POP mail reader it displays it, but no harm is done as
the internal data is recreated when you access again using IMAP. I know
that newer versions of qpopper can be configured to ignore the data so that
it's never sent to a POP mail reader, but I've never done so. See the
documentation on eudora.com's qpopper site.

I advise you educate your users, suggest they don't use both a POP mail
reader and IMAP mail reader and/or make the qpopper modification if it works
for your version of qpopper. If it requires upgrading qpopper think very
hard before proceeding.
