As far as I know, the configuration instructions for the above are all
available from the MRTG website (or on sites linked to by the MRTG
homepage).

It's quite simple actually. You may however want to use the new RRD-tool
if you want to really monitor stuff. It's easy to implement new
monitoring schemes in Perl - and it's generally better suited for
"larger" installations.
