I have since worked around the problem by creating a sub domain (ag.foo.com)
and this seems to have worked thus far. I would however still like to know
what was causing the error below???????


Sorry was in a hurry to get the email off last night.. here is a lil more
meat and potatoes...

Server: RaQ3 (Latest Patches) +FP2k extentions

Problem: Customer would like to use the dreaded "sub web " feature of the
MSFront Page 2k Client. After searching the archives here it was pretty
apparent that the feature was not supported by RaQ's, so I opted for one of
the 2 solutions and created a user and use a "user sub web" instead.

http://www.foo.com/~user


It will create the "user web" fine, but once I attempt to connect to it with
the FP Client, it gives me the error as stated in my original post. As I
stated before, I can edit the Site Admins "user web" but not this other
user.

Here is what I am doing to connect:

1. connect to the main web (foo.com)

2. Then double-click the "users web" and then the error pops up then after
hitting  OK it will go right back to the regular FP2k Client screen.

Frustrating.. go figure it is Micro$oft!!!!
