Hey all,
Just thought I'd share a bit of info with you. I have a few raq3 with the
Seagate ST310212A drives installed and have been testing the best way to
optimize those drives. Here is what I'm using now (prior to this the only
thing enabled was the dma setting for the drive):
Multicount = 32
32-bit I/O support = 3
dma = 1
unmaskirq = 1
PIO4 = 12
in short "hdparm -m32 -c3 -d1 -u1 -X12 /dev/hda" .
Does anyone run a raq3 with the same HD? If so and you have optimized what
are your settings?
thanks,
chuck
