Do you have a hub/router/switch? I have a Linksys 4 port set up to act as an
DHCP server for my home network. At one time or another I've connected all
of my RaQ's to this network with no problems (usually to do initial setup
and configure, testing, etc.) What I do is assign the RaQ an internal IP via
the LCD when I boot up, like 192.168.1.100. The DHCP server leaves it alone,
and I can point any other machine on the network to 192.168.1.100 to talk to
it. Works like a charm. You can also use the router as your link for an OS
restore without having to do a direct connection with a crossover cable.
