Just get them to place an entry in their local hosts file, then access
the site as normal.

In Name based hosting is there a way to view a domain before
it is added to the DNS by the servers IP number and the path
of the files?

We have a lot of clients that want to move their site and
make sure it is working on our server before they change
their DNS to us. We have not been able to give them a URL to
do that.
