Last time that happened to me I was told it was because the machine had been
powered off before the config had been completed... I sent the box in and
they reimaged the HD... Works fine now...

Subject: [cobalt-users] Booting Problem on Raq3
This morning a tech found that my server was in stuck booting mode, though
the server had not recently been restarted. After rebooting it, we found it
made it through the following steps: 1. Turns on 2. Cobalt welcome screen 3.
Disk light turns on 4. Loading Kernal 5. Decompressing ____ (flashed really
quickly) 6. Booting (gets stuck in that mode
Any ideas as to what the problem is?
I'm going to try using a null modem connection to troubleshoot.
Thanks.
