Before you actually purchase a machine, maybe you won't too think about it
if you really need your own dedicated machine.
What are you planning on doing with it.

unless you are familiar with the maintenance of a unix box, you might want
to consider if you really need a dedicated plateform or if a shared one
would do. I'm not trying to discourage you, but we have quite some customers
who wish to have their own box, but then when they actually start using it
and see that there is a little more to it then just putting page onto the
server, they start calling and end up selling their box and moving to a
shared plateform.
Please note that I'm not trying to make any publicity for the company I work
for but it's just a general thought people might want to go through before
making such a choice.
