RE: [cobalt-users] should I buy into RaQ3

Jim,
We rented a UK2 RaQ3 and are (so far) pleased with it. The only current
problem is, I can't install any perl modules on it, and i've email this
mailing list and everyone has ignored me. The other problem is that: when
you buy a domain you have to buy DNS re-direction then direct it to the RaQ,
and UK2 hasn't refunded us the amount they should have done (because they
haven't got a dedicated raq buy domain area, they give you a special price,
but we've had to pay standard prices because they haven't refunded us the
money, after repeated emails.

Also, it's a minumum 3 yr rental period.

Regards,
--Ed

Subject: [cobalt-users] should I buy into RaQ3

Hi,

I am thinking of getting a Cobalt RaQ3 from http://uk2.net/. Is this a good
idea? Are there any drawbacks from buying into this particular service apart
from those directly related to running my own server?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim
