Hi Greg,

Did you get any error messages during the compilation of PHP ??
If you did please send us the content of the debug.log file.

The version 4.0.6 was know to have some slight problems with the the
compilation as DSO ( --with-apxs ).

If you didn't get any error messages during the compilation you might want
to have a go with 4.0.4pl1 ( forget about 4.0.5 since it had some severe
security bugs !! ).

If this still doesn't work you will have to check your apxs script.
