Personally, I would consider such a direct off-list unrequested solicitation
as spam. If my post didn't say I'm willing to pay someone for help, or
please contact me off-list, IMO, it's spam. No different than the
solicitations I get at this email address, (probably harvested from the list
archives), for hosting services.

Then the sender should expect a spam complaint to their provider for their
unsolicited commercial email. A post to any list is not an invitation for
commercial email.
