Good point. How can I achieve this? I could set the username to admin and then: ftp -i -n $ZIEL <<!EOF! user backup simpson99 cd /home/backup/cmubackup mkdir $QUELLE.bak cd $QUELLE.bak mdelete * cd .. rmdir $QUELLE.bak rename $QUELLE $QUELLE.bakWould this work or is there a better way of getting the user backup to store files elsewhere?
regards, Jason

The *target* machine can be any Linux-Server. But if you have two RaQs and #1 backups #2 and vice versa you should configure the RaQs not to ftp the files to any /home/sites/site*/-directory because you'll backup the backup of a backup of a backup and you'll get *very* large backup-files :-) Regards, Daniel _______________________________________________ cobalt-users mailing list cobalt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To Subscribe or Unsubscribe, please go to: http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-users
