Which product ??
On a RaQ3 you can take a look at the
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Cobalt/Product_raq.pm module for these
settings. You'll find a shortest and longest lenght, in addition to this
there is a file called login.defs in /etc where you can also set the
shortest passwords acceptable.
