Hi,
I have a problem. Almost all services on my rack4i are working
well. Mail runs great, I can ftp, DNS is up and running. I can ping,
traceroute and all the other stuff to the server. Exept the webserver
seems to be 'down'. I receive a error 500 when browsing to one of
the hosted sites or when I wish to make changes via the admin
pages. Always:
Server Error
The following error occurred:
Could not connect to the server
Please contact the administrator.
500 server error.

It's just or the server has no apache installed! Don't ask me how
but the server runs great for months. But... For security Telnet is
switched of. So I can't go on the machine with Telnet, run rpm and
check... Is it possible to get the file with the info for running telnet
to download via ftp, change settings and replace it? So yes, what
file? If there is a major problem with Apache, can I remove it with
rpm and reinstall it? What version of Apache do I have to install? Is
it a normal version for Linux or not? Does it need some
configuration and so yes, where can I find the details? As you see
a lot of questions, but before I panic I woul'd like some access via
telnet to check it out. Who can help?
Thanks a lot for any help.
Patrick.
PS: ftp to /etc/inetd.conf and remove the # before telnet is also a
problem. I can download it with ftp but replace isn't possible
(permittion denied) if I log in as admin. Login as root seems
impossible at a rack...
Bye / Dag
