Comment on the restore thing, you need a simple 100mbit connection and the
approved nic. I have done it with a dumb 10/100mbit hub and the xover
cable. Buy a single cable from a -"good" vendor, and test it between two
boxes, if the nic is a correct flavor, it will connect to the cobalt if you
can connect at 100mbits between two boxes.
The thing that stumped me forever: it has to be 100mbits to be a valid
connection for restore.
