I agree 100%. No-one should authenticate on the "From" field; I'll
bring this issue up on several lists where Verizon-droids should be
hanging out, and see if I can get any information as to their
rationale. Or maybe, hopefully, even change some minds <smile>.
But I can see why if they'd do it from dialup they'd use the same
rationale to do it from DSL without static IP. Dumb, but at least
consistent <wry grin>.
