Personally I like the redirect. it catches the user's attention and they
realize that yes, dorothy, there is something wrong in Kansas. we @Xnext are
going to have a custom redirect to another page on our site with that
information, plus contact information.
Carrie's right with the "ignoring" part; heck, I do it myself whenever I see
a "Warning -Internet Explorer not supported" or some other warning (Except I
see "virus"...LOL). People will NOT care until you really bring it to the
forefront of their attention. Pop-up windows don't work either; they will
get closed down. A redirect to a page with information makes the user have
to see what's going on.
Although I was toying around with the idea of adding a jscript msg box that
says "Alert! You may be using Ezula. You are being redirected to a company
page with more information" ;)
