RE: [cobalt-users] Name based hosting - Raq4

Does it have to be like this?
(A) record for host name 'mail' for 'domain.com' = IP ADDRESS
Because I just have mail as a cname and it seems to work fine?

Standard settings for Cobalt RAQ4r Virtual Sites
These settings are not for use with Sub-Domain sites

DNS for Virtual Site
(A) record for 'domain.com' = IP ADDRESS (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.)
(A) record for host name 'www' for 'domain.com' = IP ADDRESS
(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.)
(A) record for host name 'mail' for 'domain.com' = IP ADDRESS
(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.)
(MX) record for 'domain.com.au' with mail server entry of 'mail.domain.com'
(SOA) - Add secondary name server = add a secondary name server (if you need
to ie. dns2.domain.com)
