I have never used SafeTP but the problem where users can login to
The FTP site but not do a LS could be to do with the fact that
FTP uses two ports FTP and FTP-DATA where FTP-DATA is denied.

If you have a firewall or filtering setup on your router you may
Want to check that both ports are open to the hosts you are having
problems with.

Of course this is probably not the cause of your problem but I
