Is libphp4.so anywhere on the server? Do "updatedb", wait for it to finish
(may take a few minutes), then "locate libphp4.so". If so copy it to the
right location and try again. You may have forgotten a step in the install.
Also, you didn't say which of the 3 install methods you used for PHP - DSO,
compiled directly into Apache binary or standalone (CGI version). I could
help you better if I knew that and the ./configure commands you used. Step
by step instructions you used would be helpful too in order to see if you
forgot something or had a typo that caused something not to happen.
