As I understood the situation, your gateway computer was causing these
denial messages to appear in another computer's logs. Are they both RaQs?
I've heard that newer DHCP clients try to update dynamic DNS, and Samba has
an optional feature to forward WINS updates to a dynamic DNS server.
If you DO want these dynamic updates to be allowed, look into the
"allow-update" BIND directive. See
http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/contributions.html for links to useful
BIND documentation. Just be careful you don't allow the entire planet to
update your DNS.
It would've been useful to have more of the original message.
