/etc/httpd/php.ini :

magic_quotes_gpc        =       Off
magic_quotes_runtime=   Off
magic_quotes_sybase     =       Off

to

magic_quotes_gpc        =       On
magic_quotes_runtime=   Off
magic_quotes_sybase     =       Off

That's it.
Also, make sure that your config file it tip-top perfect. Phpnuke doesn't
like playing with imperfect configurations.. :P

What are you using phpnuke for? EH!? Hehe..
Email me if you want to see what we've done with it.. quite an amazing piece
of work..

If that doesn't fix it, send me your config.php but make sure you remove
your mysql information.. :P
