Subject: [cobalt-users] ps -ax strange output?

| Hi All
|
| Below is a copy and paste from my process listing from my RaQ4r.
|
| I notice that there are a lot of lines like
"/home/chiliasp/asp-apache-3000/caspeng -p:3001 -mt:5".
|
| What are these processes and should they be there?
|
| Kind Regards
|

That's actually very normal. When you enable ASP for a site, it will run a
child process for those services, regaurdless of whether or not they are
actually being used. Don't enable ASP for a site unless they absolutely must
have it. Usually you don't need it because even with things like MySQL you
don't need the ASP server to be active.
