Not on a RaQ4 - due to cgi-wrap any cgi script will work in any 
directory, whether it's called .cgi or .pl.
Just make sure you upload the files in ASCII as the site 
administrator, have the shebang line (the very first line) pointing 
to the correct location of perl (/usr/bin/perl or 
/usr/local/bin/perl), the script is chmod to 755 and all of the 
variables you were supposed to enter in the script (like server path 
to the script) are correct.
