I have a new Cobalt XTR that I am trying to configure.  Currently it
takes at
least an hour to boot.  It seems to hang with the message "Checking
disk..." for a
long time, the lights indicate a lot of disk activity.  After about an
hour the machine reboots
itself then finally comes up.

 Anyone have similar trouble? Any ideas?

The machine has three drives for a total of 60GB.
