Be careful you do not confuse what the host is saying - often they mean to swap your RAQ out for a higher spec unit which carries a
higher monthly rental.
To be honest I have found several UK hosts unwilling to fit memory upgrades and would rather take the above action. Some have even
used Cobalt's own warranty as an excuse for not opening the box to fit new memory.
I would suggest you move host in this case to one a little more flexible.
