I've searched the Cobalt Knowledge Base and the archives for this list, and
I see that an SSH package is available--apparently from Cobalt. There
appears to be some question as to what source this package was built from.
I've gone to www.openssh.org, downloaded the latest version 2.9p2), and
after doing the following:
./configure
it ran through and stopped, ending with this:
checking whether getpgrp takes no argument... yes
checking for OpenSSL directory... configure: error: Could not find working
OpenSSL library, please install or check config.log
I've downloaded openssl-engine-0.9.6b.tar.gz and openssl-0.9.6b.tar.gz from
www.openssl.org. Before I attempt to build and install those, I want to ask
the advice of those on this list.
Will installing OpenSSL 0.9.6b, and then OpenSSH 2.9p2 cause problems, or
should I just download Qube2-RaQ-RaQ2- OpenSSH-Server-2.1.1p2.pkg from
pkg.nl.cobalt.com? Will that 2.1.1p2.pkg include OpenSSL?
