Ok, I did this as root so root owned it. But I got an error:
Aug 3 00:14:35 www sendmail[13568]: AAA13568: forward
/home/sites/site1/web/Doe/.forward: Permission denied
So now I changed owner of the .forward to Doe and chmod 640 just for the
heck of it. Guess what?
It worked! ;-)

I agree! I guess that at the time, there was nothing better on the market.
But I'll tell you, now that Apple has come out with OS X for the mac user
market, it won't be long before folks will realize they can do things a
little easier. We just have to learn to "think different!" ;-)
I'm just joking folks, please don't get weirded out. I'm tickled to death
that I am administering a server on the internet with as little knowledge as
I have. But I'm lernin'! ...
One little step at a time.
