Re: [cobalt-users] ASP, XML & Cobalt Raq 4i

Its not completely impossible. Sun was working on a beta for this but I can't find any information about it. And if it can't be done in ASP using Chili!Soft surely it can be done in PHP or something and still be hosted on the Raq. I can't believe a third party company hasn't come out with an easy to use xml parser that will work on the raq 4.

There is no XML component in C!ASP on the RaQ4. Basically, what you are
trying to do won't work.

Subject: [cobalt-users] ASP, XML & Cobalt Raq 4i

I'm afraid I just made a huge mistake. I purchased a Raq 4i with the
intention of moving some asp sites onto it only to find out at the
moment I don't know how to remedy a problem with creating server objects
for xml.

I'm using this command in ASP on some sites:

Set XMLHTTP = SERVER.CreateObject("microsoft.XMLHTTP")

This is the error I'm getting:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'
Server.CreateObject Failed
/info, line 3
Systemmessage, messageid = 0x800401f3

I have checked the archives as well as many other sources on the net for
answers but I am turning up empty handed. If anyone has any idea please
let me know =) I really appreciate it.

Thanks so much!
