When I check in /etc/hosts, it just list the primary IP address with the
server name. It doesn't list the IP address where all the virtuals are.
In the httpd.conf, the top entry under virtual domains in the one in
question. The top line starts:
NameVirtualHost 212.74.122.212
<virtualHost> 212.74.122.212
Servername www.spi-tek.com
and ends...
</virtualHost>
before going onto the next virtual domain.
I must admit, I'm a little wary of making changes to files like these. Do I
just remove the portion relating to this domain and from which line to which
line. How can I backup the original in case of difficulty.
Cheers
Richard

Check /etc/hosts and see if the IP address is still attached to the
domain name there.
Check /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and see if the domain name is still
in there somewhere. In Pico this is as easy as CTRL-W, type in the
domain name (or part of it), and hit enter. If it's there, it will
take you to it.
If it's in your httpd.conf file, make the necessary changes, then
restart httpd by typing:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart
There are probably tons of other places to check, those are the first
two that came to *my* mind. Hope it helps.
