Could you delete or move some of those files with a little shell
script and a crontab entry? Not sure if you can su to root *inside*
of a script, but it might be possible. If so, a script ran as admin
could su to root with the password (somehow) and delete those files
for you, making some room.
I kinda doubt this is possible, though.
Check the archives for a discussion last week on how to make and
install your own .pkg, that will run as root. You can do that to
delete/move some of those files and free up some space so that
hopefully you can su to root.
