There is info in the archives on things you can do to move things from / to
/home.  I think the standard response from Cobalt/Sun is to live with it.
An alternative which was posted recently was to edit the active monitor code
so that it is less sensitive.

The real problem is that the / partition is simply too small.

I know it may be too late for many of us and others would not want to go through the hassle, but would it be possible for Cobalt to create a new restore CD for the Qube2 that will create a larger root partition? That way, anyone who wants to fix their machine would be able to without monkeying with links to /home or trying to figure out what's safe to delete.

Anyone know whether it's possible to repartition an active Linux drive? :o)
