Hi,
How can I automatically start my MYSQL daemon at machine start-up/reboot
please? I guess that it's something to do with /etc/rc.d or something like
that. However, to be honest, I am unsure. Any pointers would be most
appreciated.
Graham,
How did you install MySQL? If you installed it from source, then
there will be a startup script that you can just copy to your
/etc/rc.d/init.d directory. You may also need to link this file to
rc0.d and rc3.d- check the documentation for more information.
If you installed MySQL from a package, then the install script should
already be installed.
Regards,
Glen
