I've had things on a Qube2 break after applying updates/patches, but not
DNS.

Are you sure about this? I have a number of installations using WebRamps
and to the best of my knowledge the WebRamp does not do DNS ... it does
DHCP, but not DNS.

I have all my Qubes doing the DNS thing for themselves and the LAN.

Have a closer look at your network config for the Qube2. IMHO the Pri DNS
should be the Qube2's Pri Ethernet IP and the Sec DNS should be your ISP's
DNS ... the gateway address should be the internal IP address of your
WebRamp. You will need to setup your Qube2 as a DNS for your domain
resolving names to local IP addresses.

The authority for your domain should be with your ISP so external hosts can
resolve your name to the external IP address of your WebRamp.

YMMV, but this works for me.

Cheers, Malcolm
