RE: [cobalt-users] [cobalt-users]RaQ4R Credit Card Payments

If you want to go that route

try secpay (http://www.secpay.com) in th UK to process all cards (even switch), you just need a cart to totup the purchases and send the amount to secpay and then a callback script to receive the authentication from secpay that they've paid up.

if you want to process your own you'll need

1) a merchant account (try barclays)
2) ssl on the site that takes the card no
3) decent bug free scripting

for 1) BT have a link up with verisign you can ask them about a cert

for 2) you'll need to setup your RAQ as an IP based host (one ssl site per IP - at least on a raq4r)

for 3) you're on your own, it's a DIY job or you could try searching on http://www.scriptsearch.com for a free one.

Thanks. Very interesting. According to their site, you need a US bank
account. Are their any similar companies in the UK?
