Some while ago I installed Webalizer 1.3 (official .pkg Cobalt release, if
my memory is correct). Now, I want to remove it. That is, I tried to remove
it.
Buried in /var/lib/cobalt/uninstallers I found an uninstall script. When
running I got an error message that null-0-0 was not an RPM installation.
Instead, I ran rpm -e webalizer-??? which appears to have removed webalizer
from the disk. I (stupidly) deleted the .uninst file without taking a more
careful look at it.
Still, webalizer shows up in the list of installed packages in the GUI. I
tried the following command
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/install/install.cgi < /dev/null > /dev/null
2>&1
which did not remove it from GUI.
In the meanwhile, I have been trying to install the latest Webalizer 2 .pkg
from http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/. I've tried by Upload and from a
URL, and both attempts to install fails.
I wonder this happens because of the old copy of webalizer on the RaQ?
Does anyone have experience going from Webalizer 1.3 to 2.0?
Also, how can I purge any trace of Webalizer 1.3?
