With all virtual sites on a RaQ, you need to both add the site as well
as create a DNS record for the site, even if it is a subdomain (as I
call it). You need to enter an A record for site1.mydomain.com and point
it to the same IP address as the site. This means your DNS settings
(Under Control Panel in Server Management) for mydomain.com would look
like this:

mydomain.com		-->	IP
site1.mydomain.com	-->	IP
mail.mydomain.com	-->	IP
www.mydomain.com	-->	IP

You can of course host both sites on the same IP address or on their own
IP addresses, whichever you prefer. You can also add:

www.site1.domain.com	-->	IP

I hope this helps.
