i guess i may have not made the question very easy to
understand......so .......i will give it another try.........please

I have another server and a server software that allows me to host
numerous directories/folders within a directory/folder called "pub"
this directory/folder was created by me and all of the enclosed
folders were also created .........I am using a mac so the creation
piece was done via apple talk rather than FTP that i need to use with
the cube.......ok...........so ..............i can (and have) make
the "pub" directory transparent to the user via a browser.......the
path becomes..........www.burt.com/flowers instead of
www.burt.com/pub/flowers..........."pub" by my way of thinking is
equal to user or group in the cube..........am i right here or out to
lunch?............again (not to bore you to tears) it seems to me
that i should be able to configure the cube to allow a browser user
to bypass the need to type in user or group.........again my
apologies for my lack of understanding
