Argh, another person spreading FUD. If one backs up the Apache "httpd"
binary, Apache config files and ".so" files and skips the "make install"
step of the Apache configuration undoing a failed Apache install is as
simple as copying the backed up files back to their original location.
There is no need to pull out the restore CD and though this can be a
difficult installation because of the complexity of it, the installation
itself is really very, very, very safe if my advice is followed.
