I am currently using a product from http://www.adjeweb.com . All has gone
well thus far, the only draw-back is that it is much like the other free web
mail solutions with banners.
Ran into a lil trouble with a warranty issue on my RAQ3 server so they (Sun
Tech Support) asked me to remove it before they would help me.. Now I have
it running on a Debian Linux 2.2 box with Apache, and it screams..
Fully customizable log in screen and color schemes
Hope this helps..

Brad -
As you may have seen from another post - this has been
discussed *A LOT* in the archives. Lots of people use
the free, downloadable (and ad-supported) version of
EmuMail from (http://www.emumail.com). I spent weeks
trying to install it, and finally had to get Emu tech
to do it for $200. And even still, I had to disable
FastCGI, so it's running very slow. I'm hoping to
find out about how to update my Apache to help things.
Anyway, if you don't mind your hosting clients seeing
a banner ad for another hosting company, you could
send them to http://www.mail2web.com - it's free, and
very fast. . .again, the only disadvantage is that
this FREE service is provided by another hosting
company, so your clients may see their ads and be
"lured" away while checking their email! (the very
reason I didn't resort to this!)
Also - if you have PHP, you can do Horde
(http://www.horde.org). Another good one is found at
http://www.althepal.com
Hope this summary "re-post" will help update the
archives.
Blessings,
