Re: [cobalt-users] Getting Mail Bombed!



It's been hard for me to follow this thread as there were many solutions offered.  One that I did not see mentioned (but it may have been) 
is procmail.

Using procmail, you can filter mail based upon a large number of rules.  It is not very easy to figure out if you are not an administrator, but 
it is powerful and you can drop the mail right at the RaQ before it arrives in your mailbox.

Procmail is installed already on the RaQ's I have used and you can find some tutorial sites on the net to set up your rules.

Actually, the virus check-up has the nuggests of the solution.  compare the
information for the virus against the mail incoming and create a filter to
/dev/null
