RE: [cobalt-users] changing the new virtual sites "index.html" file?

I think he means he just wants to change the "This site page" - actually a
good idea security-wise. even though it won't stop someone from finding out
it can help with the passing-by kiddie who's wanting to learn or what-not.
Also it can look a bit unprofessional if you're doing a professional site -
it's been my experience that the customer wants something nice, saying
"coming soon" to show up instead of a login page. I think everyone would
also agree that with the current knowledge some clients have it makes them a
bit nervous to have an exposed login to their site.

Again, that is based on the experience I've had.

what i've been doing so far is using a cgi script to automate it. i
*beleive* there is a conf file you can edit but so far i haven't bothered to
track it down.

You do not want them to know they are on a Cobalt server?
Good luck.
