these are both essentially the same hardware. i'm running a couple of
qubes on my lan and they're working out really well. they aren't doing
email but they are handling the web requests for the intranet.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Qube 3 versus raq4
I'm looking to add a server to my local lan. Its primary purpose will be
to
handle a web site, email, and ftp from behind a firewall. Is the Qube3
just
as good as the raq4 for this job? I want to make sure that the Qube can
handle these functions through the web interface.
There will only be 1 web site and maybe 50 or so email addresses. The
reason
I am interested in the Qube is that it is in stock, cheaper, and since
this
is going to be on a lan, there is no rackmount / space constraints.
Thanks,
Kevin
